mixing drywall mud

A 1/2" drill sure makes mixing easier. Here I'm mixing some thinset for tiles but I use this drill for mixing drywall mud, grout, cement mix and more then a few other things. The metal mixer is comon but what you need to know is that the drill has a 1/2" opening, is bigger then the common 3/8" and more powerfull.

In the second picture I am holding the bucket with my legs, this is to prevent the bucket from spinning and bouncing all over the place with the power from the drill.

This drill is a 1/2" makita but many others will do the job as well.
