light grey colour cedar
Here is a pic of the before and after results of using a power washer. On the left is the light grey colour cedar turns to after a couple years left outdoors. After using the power washer to clean the chair, the cedar returns to it's natural colour.
When cleaning with a power washer make sure you take your time and try to get all the light grey out. In the pic below you can see some light grey around the knot in the one upright. This will show to some degree if not removed when you add the sealer.
