fix the problem without doing any damage

(part 2)

I want to fix the problem without doing any damage to the wall and especially to the drywall on the other side of the wall. If I tried to take out the 2x4 then I would do damage for sure, I installed a 2x3 beside it instead. I have a 2x4 ledge that the tub is resting on so I have to notch out a corner of the 2x3 to fit properly. I take my circular saw and adust the blade at the depth I want the wood to be notched out. I make a few cuts and then hit these with a hammer and they will fall off.

   

   

Tomorrow find out what I do with this 2x3
