a line through tile

I don't want to take any short cuts and cut the tile half way through, this will work but will have a line through tile. I trace out the cardboard cut out and then take the tile to the wet saw. With the wet saw I cut out most of the inside of the trace out and then use my tiles nippers to get the rest. I am happy with this cut out as I don't have any lines through my tile, it is still one piece.

I cut the tile so that I have a space between the cap and the tile, this will be filled with grout so everything flows, I still leave space so the cap can be removed at a later date.
